The network’s sports network is expected to be pulled from Netflix and AMC in the coming weeks, a network insider told RTE.
The network, owned by Disney, will be removed from HBO and Netflix’s main platforms as a result of the merger, the source said.
Netflix will no longer be able to offer its own streaming service, The Verge reported earlier this month.
The network has said it plans to keep the service alive through the merger.
The deal is the latest in a long line of consolidation in the television industry, with rival cable networks now owned by Comcast and Time Warner.
